My Radio History

I have been listening since 78 starting with cb radio. I got into it because my parents were. They were the good old days before all the legal jargon got involved. Come 1980 when sideband became illegal i was given my first harvard handheld, and i began shortwave listening to the ametuer bands. My parents tried to get me to take the exam then but i thought it would be too difficult. Quite a few years later in 2003 i became an m3 to enjoy the ametuer bands. I passed my 2eo in 2005 and hope in time to do the advanced licence.
